Antiseptic preparation
Based on organic essential oils (niaouli, lavender, mint, thyme and pine), it was formulated by Dr. Jean Valnet to relieve the patients he received in his Paris office. For more than thirty years, it has been offered to the general public. It is sprayed on a tissue and is inhaled or rubbed directly on the chest and back to decongest the airways. Anti-irritation eye lotion
Following his stay in the United States in 1936, a doctor Bagnères-de-Bigorre imports witch hazel and installs a distillery in the town. In 1946, the first pharmaceutical products based on decoction and distillation of this shrub are born. Relaxing balm
This ointment was invented in 1870 by a Chinese herbalist, Aw Chu Kin, to relieve the joint pain of emperors. Its authentic recipe: a mix of camphor, menthol, clove oil and cajeput oil. Vaseline and paraffin give it a smooth appearance. It is applied by massage to reduce muscle pain. The White Tiger Balm version relieves headaches and insect bites. The heavy anti-leg solution
Developed in 1745 by the abbots Soury and Delarue, it was first called herbal tea of the two abbots. It contains witch hazel and viburnum, calamus and piscidia. To be diluted in water, this oral solution calms the circulatory troubles and the problems of heavy legs. Jouvence of L'Abbé Soury, € 6.79.
