Scalp: how to maintain balance?
Sometimes our skull makes us want to pull our hair out . Between tightness, irritation, itching, tingling sensations discover why your scalp does its head and, above all, our solutions to appease the situation and regain balance thanks to the advice of the Schwarzkopf teams
Tip # 1: Oil-based care for a balanced scalp
An oil-based care will be a real bath of youth for your scalp. Apply by massaging several drops of a superior vegetable oil (jojoba, almond or argan) on your scalp, then leave to rest one night. The next morning, apply shampoo to dry hair, and massage. Add water to dilute the product, then rinse with lukewarm water.
Scrupulously follow each of these steps: it is the only way to remove excess oil from the scalp and hair.
Tip # 2: Detergent Stations!
Detergents present in shampoos can dry out your hair , and therefore be responsible for severe disorders . In this case, dilute your shampoo with water (a volume of shampoo for a volume of water) before use.
Tip 3: Rinse abundantly
Shampoo residues or limestone can irritate the scalp. Make sure to thoroughly rinse the entire shampoo. If tap water is hard or even hard, use an acidic rinse lotion to remove residual limescale.
Here's our simple recipe : mix one tablespoon of lemon juice or apple vinegar with one liter of cold water, then rinse your hair with this preparation.
Tip 4: The virtues of massage
Gentle massage with a non-greasy liquid care helps soothe the scalp. Be careful with using essential oils massage fluids that can cause irritation ...
Tip # 5: Limit the use of the hair dryer
If you feel severe itching and tightness , avoid hairdryers and other irons to smooth , curl or crepe for some time. The heat emitted by these devices will only further dry your scalp.
Tip # 6: The Good Brush
Never repeat it enough: Plastic or metal brushes can also irritate a sensitive scalp . So prefer a soft brush , of relatively dense natural hair , softer to hair and scalp. Of course, it costs more , but sometimes you have to make good investments!
