LIP OIL, THE NEW MAKE-UP MOUTH
Lipstick , gloss, pencil ... It's not the cosmetics that are missing when it comes to highlighting your lips. But the spring of this season has decided to bring a novelty makeup. The followers of glossy and curved lips will be delighted! Two brands have embarked on lip oil and have been quick to make it known to their fans.
Clarins and Yves Saint Laurent seem to have had the same idea for this beginning of the year. Small bottles resembling those of nail polish for Clarins and those of gloss for YSL contain a different content to sublimate the lips of their consumers. The concept starts with a nourishing oil for the lips, all in different shades according to the brands. But what is the real novelty that these products bring? What distinguishes these oils from the usual glosses?

LIP OIL, A REAL INNOVATION?
The first opinions on these lip oils diverge. Some bloggers do not seem convinced by the testing of products, others are delighted. The real difference between gloss and lip oils is ultimately the nourishing aspect of them. The aesthetic result is very similar to that of gloss especially for Clarins products. However, texture, comfort and ingredients take precedence over gloss that is not used for lip care.
It can therefore be said that lip oils are variants of the gloss. A rather interesting alternative especially as the two ranges of products available smell very pleasant or greedy. It should also be noted that the colors of the oils adapt to the natural pH of the lips and will not have the same effect from one person to another. So choose your color!
CLARINS AND YVES SAINT LAURENT, THE MONOPOLY OF LIP OILS
Only these two major cosmetic companies are competing for the lipstick market at the moment. However, the products are not true copies of each other. Some differences could be observed between the oils of Clarins and those of Yves Saint Laurent. Clarins presents his "Minute Shine Oil Comfort Lips". For the moment, two shades are available (honey and its honey taste as well as raspberry and its raspberry taste) and the applicators have the tip rather domed.
Yves Saint Laurent hits hard with his series of eight oils "Tint in Oil" whose muse is the sublime Cara Delevingne. The brand, however, has the advantage for its color-boost addition that Clarins does not have, its cosmetics having a more transparent outfit. So we can talk about a novelty although the "innovative" aspect is rather debatable.
