Angelina Jolie's children are the best friends she has ever had.
The actress and her husband Brad Pitt have the six children Maddox (16), Pax (13), Zahara (12) and Shiloh (11) as well as the nine-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox. Now she reveals that she has never received as much support as from her offspring. She says, "You really help me so much. We are such a unit. You are the best friends I have ever had. No one has stood by me as much in my whole life as they have."
It had not been easy for the whole family since the separation. The 'Maleficent' actress continues: "It is very, very difficult, a very painful situation and I just want my family to be healthy. They are doing better [again]." The children would slowly get used to the new living conditions. In September 2016, the two Hollywood stars announced that they would go their separate ways. Angelina then moved out of the shared villa with the children and rented another house for nine months before looking for a new home in Los Angeles. To the New York Times newspaper, she admits: "It took me a few months to realize that I have to do it. That there has to be a home. A new home."
She has now found this and the family is very happy there. What other people think about her is not so important to Angelina. They are only interested in the opinion of their children: "I do not expect that I am the one that everyone understands or likes. And that's okay, because I know who I am and the children know that too."
