In 1927, the designer of the haute couture house, named Jeanne Lanvin, wanted to offer her daughter Marie-Blanche a wonderful personalized gift for her birthday. For the thirtieth birthday of her daughter, Jeanne Lanvin decided to make her create a perfume to show her all her love. Jeanne wanted perfection for Marie-Blanche. This is where Arpège was born. Since then, it has become mythical, because its composition combines prestigious and noble essences. Not only is its bottle of the same ilk. Indeed, it constitutes a black ball surmounted by an elongated ornament of the color of gold as a cork. But above all, a gold print, created by Paul Iribe, representing the founder of the mark holding the hands of his daughter. This print has since been used as the emblem of the couture house. In short, it is an internationally remarkable perfume.
Composition of the fragrance "Arpège" by Lanvin
The "Arpège" juice is an aldehydé floral fragrance composed of more than sixty natural essences. Since its creation, the composition has been revisited in order to replace certain natural and / or animal molecules with synthetic materials. In the top notes, aldehydes, neroli and bergamot come titillating the senses. The heart is composed of notes of jasmine, rose of Bulgari, violet and ylang-ylang. Its bottom is warm thanks to the effluvium of amber, vanilla, iris, patchouli, and vetiver. In 2009, to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the brand, a limited edition of the mythical fragrance, named "Arpège Edition 120 years" was born.
