Wakefield will be in the play-off places with a win over Leeds on Thursday's so winger Tom Briscoe expects a tough clash for the Rhinos
Trinity go into Thursday night's game as outsiders after their loss to Huddersfield last week in the first round of the Super Eight's but Briscoe says there is never an easy game against their West Yorkshire rivals.
He told the Yorkshire Post: "Obviously they will throw everything at us in order to get into that top-four. The way they went against us in the normal league season, they were tough and threw a lot at us.“We are expecting the best of Wakefield this week.
"This is the business end of the season now and everyone’s trying to get into the top-four.
"Wakey just being outside that is big motivation for them to beat us and it is a local derby as well."
The Rhinos shrugged off their disappointment of losing in the Challenge Cup semi-final against Hull two weeks ago with a dominant performance in a win over Wigan last Friday and are on course for a top-four finish.
