'Call of Duty: WWII' developers have insisted the game will not be coming to Nintendo Switch consoles.
Last month, developers at Sledgehammer said they had "no plans" on bringing the first person shooter game to Nintendo's new hybrid console, and it seems some fans haven't quite gotten the message as they've had to confirm the news once again.
During a Reddit AMA session with Sledgehammer, one fan asked: "Yes or no? Is Call Of Duty WWII coming to Nintendo Switch?"
To which the developers simply replied: "No."
Previously, Sledgehammer Games senior creative director Bret Robbins revealed the game - which will be released on Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC systems in November - would not be getting a port for the Switch.
The decision to skip the Switch puts 'WWII' on a long list of 'Call of Duty' games that have failed to make it to Nintendo consoles, with 2013's 'Call of Duty: Ghosts' being the last game to get a port on a Nintendo system when it was released for the Wii U.
Bret made the confession to GameSpot.com during E3 last month, where the developers released the first multiplayer trailer for the game, which opens for beta testing for all other consoles in the summer.
Recently, Sledgehammer's boss Michael Condrey revealed details about the game's multiplayer mode which he believes fans will "go bananas" over as it takes the franchise back to "where it began".
He told GamesRadar: "This arsenal of World War II weapons and the signatures of those weapons were really uniquely defined. Obviously, we have the classics that people know and love like the SMG-44 and the Garand, the rifles, the SMGs like the Thompson or the Grease Gun - but clearly shotguns and LMGs meant things, and the battlefields would respond.
"There's so many real varied engagements in World War II that really lend itself well to saying, 'Hey, these were real battle sites, they were very different in their strategy and we have a real world arsenal of weapons that you will have to manage in order to be successful there.
"For fans in general, a return to the strategic, grounded fast action of multiplayer where we began? Frankly, people are going to go bananas. It's going to be great."
