Paul Casey says it would be fantastic to claim the FedEx Cup trophy after moving into the outright lead at the Tour Championship.

Casey, who has seven top-10 finishes in 2017, carded a brilliant five-under-par 65 on Saturday at East Lake to move to -12 for the tournament, opening up a two-shot lead at the summit.

The Englishman, who last tasted success at the 2014 KLM Open, made five birdies, one eagle and two bogeys to put himself in the driving seat going into Sunday's final round.

As things stand, the 40-year-old is on course to win the Tour Championship and the FedEx Cup trophy, something he is starting to get very excited about as there would be a 10 million dollar bonus coming his way.

"It would be amazing. I haven't thought about it too much because I'm just trying to get the job done," Casey said. "Certainly it would be very satisfying knowing that I've had ups and downs in my career and this would be the biggest victory of my career."

American Xander Schauffele, in his rookie season, is in a tie for second on -10 alongside compatriot Kevin Kisner, who made seven birdies and one bogey for a fantastic six-under-par 64.

US PGA Champion Justin Thomas, US Open winner Brooks Koepka and Patrick Reed share fourth on -7, five strokes off the pace, whilst Australian Jason Day and Spain's Jon Rahm are on -6.
