The application of color and sweeping
After protecting the forehead and temples of our model with moisturizing cream, the colourist starts by applying the coloring on the roots, using a brush, without touching the tips (to avoid that the color is dull). The laying time on the roots is 15 minutes.
Then, it lengthens the tips by kneading the hair, just like when shampooing, to accentuate the shine of the hair.
The product is allowed to stay longer on the roots than on the tips because often the lengths are more fragile than the roots and react more quickly to the coloring product. The coloring step ends with a rinsing in the rules of art to remove all the residues of the product in order to stop its action.
Then, to remove the mass effect of the color, the colorist deposits light reflections on the hair thanks to the sweeping technique. At Dessange , there are different types of scans depending on the result you want to obtain. For us, the technician chose the Sun Light that gives the effect of the sun on the hair, like when we come back from vacation!
The application is faster than that of the coloring, the expert deposits the product on a few locks all over the hair and let it ask about 10-15 minutes.
The last step is to close the hair of the fragilized hair by coloring and scanning. For this, the technician performs a nutritious shampoo and then he applies the new cream Dessange 30 active mask that will nourish the hair in depth.

Result and tips for the maintenance of colored hair
The result: The coloring is very successful, no more white hair and the natural base of our model has been respected. Small flat for scanning, the lightening is really light, we would have liked it to be seen a little more!
Tips for maintenance: Forcibly, the white hair will come back through the root, but it is not necessary to redo the color and the scan every time! Indeed, one can make 2 to 3 applications of color to avoid the root effect without touching the lengths and thus with the sweeping! For this, the colorist simply isolates the tips with a product so that only the root reacts to the dye product.
At home, we choose a shampoo for colored hair or for dry and / or weakened hair. Finally, one applies once a week a nourishing care mask.
