The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the men's Wimbledon Final on Sunday (16.07.17).
The royal duo, both of whom are sports fans, sat in the Royal Box at the All England Club, where they watched Roger Federer coast to another Wimbledon singles titles with a straight sets victory against Marin Cilic.
And after Federer collected the world-famous sporting crown, the sporting star shared a conversation with the Duke and Duchess inside the stadium.
Federer's victory at Wimbledon came shortly the Duchess admitted that her mother has a soft spot for Swiss player.
The Duchess revealed that her mum Carole has a crush on the professional tennis player, while she also hailed Federer as her ultimate "heartthrob".
Speaking about her mother, who married her husband Michael Middleton in 1980, Catherine said: "I was really taken by [Andre] Agassi and [Pete] Sampras, [Goran] Ivanisevic and Steffi Graf. Those are my first memories. Roger [Federer] is my mother's heartthrob."
Meanwhile, fellow Grand Slam-winning star Andre Agassi has hailed the Duchess as a "real sweetheart".
Agassi sat next to the British royal during the 2012 Wimbledon Championships and has fond memories of his meeting with the Duchess.
He said: "We sat next to each other and watched the semi-finals about five years ago.
"She's a sweetheart of a lady. She's a real sweetheart."
