Eamonn Holmes doesn't think his wife Ruth Langsford can win 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The 57-year-old TV host has made her husband proud by simply agreeing to star on the popular BBC show, but Eamonn doesn't think Ruth has what it takes to win the coveted glitterball trophy.
Speaking to BBC Radio Ulster, Eamonn said: "She's not going to win it, absolutely not, so save your money, folks.
"But you know what, it's a great thing that programme means so much to people."
This comes shortly after Eamonn said he will be living off baked beans and takeaways "every night" while Ruth is on the programme.
The 'This Morning' co-host joked that he'll be a 'Strictly' "widower" as he has no skills in the kitchen, meaning he'll need to survive on basic meals to see him through Ruth's time on the show.
He said: "She's a domestic goddess and runs the whole house.
"She does everything and when she is not there, well it's going to be be baked beans every night. It will probably be takeaways and they will go out into the bin before she gets home."
Eamonn also revealed he will be helping Ruth out in every way possible, including running her baths and applying after tan lotion.
The veteran broadcaster said: "I am very good at running her a bath. You know like Rocky, with the trainer with the towel around his neck?
"Everything is on a back burner for me now. She did call me at 5am to the bathroom to apply lotion on her back.
"I think it was the moisturiser after the fake tan. I just go along with it. I am just a 'Strictly' widower."
