Netflix have today released the final trailer for their upcoming Marvel series The Defenders, all episodes of which are set to drop on the streaming service on August 18, at 12:01am PT. Check out the trailer below:

Bringing together Matt Murdock aka Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Danny Rand aka Iron Fist (Finn Jones), the show will see the heroes forced to unite despite their differences, to take down one of their most dangerous adversaries to-date.

In doing so, they’ll fight for the rights of all those living in New York and beyond, as Sigourney Weaver’s mysterious Alexandra promises that “the more connections [the Defenders] have, the easier it’ll be to break you”.

Along with the titular heroes and Weaver, the cast includes Elodie Yung as Elektra, Scott Glenn as Stick, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth, Rachael Taylor as Trish Walker, Eka Darville as Malcolm Ducasse, Simone Missick as Misty Knight and Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing.

The show’s executive produced by Marco Ramirez, Doug Petrie and Marvel TV’s Jeph Loeb, with Marvel Television producing the series in association with ABC Studios for Netflix.

The Defenders will join Daredevil seasons 1-2, Jessica Jones season 1, Luke Cage season 1 and Iron Fist season 1 on Netflix tomorrow (August 18).
