Force India team owner Vijay Mallya is delighted with the way the season has gone so far and feels they can catch Red Bull.
As the 2017 Formula 1 season approaches its mid-summer break, Force India sit fourth in the constructors' standings, with 75 points to their name.
They have gained points in all but one grand prix this term, with Monaco proving tough for the Silverstone-based marque.
Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocon are seventh and eighth respectively in the drivers' standings and have both finished in the points in eight of the 10 races to date.
Mallya is pleased with the progress his team has made and despite Red Bull being 69 points ahead in third, he sees no reason why Force India should not break into the top three.
"We should have had at least nine, but eight out of 10 is a very good record of double-points finishes," he said. "It's very, very satisfying to see two good, competitive drivers. Two cars regularly in the points is exactly what we need.
"We're up to 95 points in 10 races, have never had this type of points tally ever in the history of the team that I can remember, and are 54 points clear of Williams, our nearest competitor.
"I'm not giving up on chasing Red Bull, it's always good to set your targets high because that allows you to really challenge yourself in terms of performance."
