A free demo of 'Forza Motorsport 7' is available now.

The upcoming racing game is set to be released for PC and Xbox One consoles on October 3, and although players who pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition are going to be granted early access on September 29, players can now access a free demo to try the game out for themselves.

According to GameSpot.com, the gameplay in the free demo is fairly limited, with players being unable to choose which specific vehicle they drive in which sections of the map.

However, players do get to sample different cars throughout the demo, with the Porsche 911 GT2 RS being available on the Jebel Hafeet Pass, the Mercedes Tankpool on the Mugello circuit, and the Nissan Nismo GT-4 LM on Nurburgring.

'Forza Motorsport 7' comes as part of the 'Forza' franchise, which released its third 'Forza Horizon' game - which focuses on a range of vehicles in an open world setting - a year ago.

The game marked a historic moment for the franchise, as it was the first to include Porsche cars since the manufacturer ended their exclusive deal with EA Games in 2015.

After 16 years, EA and Porsche put an end to the exclusivity of their deal, meaning other game developers could strike up their own deals to feature the popular cars in their games, and 'Forza' was quick to finalise their own six-year contract with the flashy car brand.
