What looks like a harmless beige butterfly can lay eggs in our new food bags!
The sweet method: we throw food contaminated with worms and we lock the rest in boxes or jars. We bleach our cupboards and place bouquets of laurel sauce , fresh or dry, or cotton soaked with 2 drops of essential oil (HE) of laurel as the moths hate this smell.
The radical method: we place traps for food mites (Pyrel, Acto). They come in the form of a cardboard coated with glue: the presence of pheromones attracts males who get stuck in it. As the eggs are no longer fertilized, the colony dies.
