Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe says the club are open to defender Marc Wilson leaving the Vitality Stadium this summer.

The Republic of Ireland defender went out on loan to West Brom last season and nothing in pre-season has changed Howe's mind about keeping the 29-year-old at the Cherries.

Howe is adamant the offer needs to be right for the club but is open to the idea of Wilson moving on to pastures new.

He told BBC Radio Solent: "Marc may leave in this transfer window, but the club would obviously have to receive the right offer."

Having found game-time hard to come by with the Baggies on his loan deal, a drop down to the Championship seems most likely, with Leeds United reported to be one of the clubs interested.
