Jeremy McConnell hasn't seen his baby son for two weeks.
The 28-year-old hunk jumped on a plane back to Dublin, Ireland, after he got into a physical spat with his now-ex-girlfriend Stephanie Davis earlier this month and, although he was keen to step up and be a good father to six-month-old Caben-Albi before the incident, he reportedly hasn't been in contact with anyone to find out how he's doing since he fled to his hometown with a black eye and swollen nose.
A source told the MailOnline: "Jeremy seems to be carrying on like he has no cares in the world. He has a son who is six-months-old who he hasn't been in touch with for two weeks now - not even a call to anyone to find out how he is or to check if he is well. It seems like he was keen to play happy families when it suited him, but now he is single he has forgotten about his son which is a disgrace. To be doing nightclub appearances given his situation is concerning for everyone."
However, Jeremy's friends have claimed that the reason he hasn't been in touch with anyone to find out about his son's welfare is because the police have told him not to contact Stephanie following the row in which she was arrested for assault.
An insider told OK! Online: "The police have told Jeremy he can't speak to Steph. He misses his son with all his heart but there is nothing he can do."
Stephanie felt the beginning of the end for her and Jeremy was when Caben was rushed to hospital with breathing difficulties in March - and the heavily-inked heartthrob went out drinking and unleashed a paranoid attack on the actress.
She said: "Caben had breathing difficulties. Jeremy came over and we talked and he said he was fixed, but then told me he was going back to Ireland for a friend's leaving drinks. I said, 'That's fine, just let me know when you get home safe', but I didn't hear from him until the next afternoon. I then got messages saying apparently I'd taken Caben to a different hospital to be with someone else, that I must be having an affair in a hospital and he could prove it because the blankets were a different colour.
"It was completely absurd, but he has these psychotic episodes on coke where he's so paranoid about everything."
