Dame Joan Collins hates doing sex scenes.
The 84-year-old actress is not a fan of fake romping for the camera, unlike fellow actress Dame Judi Dench who loves filming nude, because she had bad experiences of it in the past, including the time she had to pretend to make out with the late US actor George Peppard in 'The Executioner', which got awkward because they both disliked one another.
The former 'Dynasty' star - who played evil Alexis Carrington in the popular US soap back in the 80s - says sex scenes are hard work because more things can go wrong when you are in close proximity to a co-star.
Speaking on Saturday night's (09.09.17) episode 'The Jonathan Ross Show', she admits: "I was reading about Judi Dench, who says that she likes love scenes. I hate them. I've always hated them.
"They're embarrassing, and you have to be careful that your nose doesn't get in the way, that your lipstick doesn't get on the man's white shirt, that he doesn't squash your boobs.
"I had to do one love scene with an actor that I really disliked, and he really disliked me, and it was a nude scene, and it was not nice."
Asked who it was with, she said: "It was George Peppard."
Meanwhile, Bond star Judi Dench recently admitted she likes to keep the spark alight at 82.
The 'Best Exotic Marigold Hotel' star doesn't think sex should change just because a person is older and spoke of her love for a "naughty knicker shop".
She shared: "Well, of course, you still feel desire. Does that ever go? To the older reader, I would say, 'Don't give up!' ... There's a lovely naughty knicker shop - but don't buy up everything because I'm going there."
'The Jonathan Ross Show' airs on Saturday at 9.15pm on ITV.
