A new game based on the 'Jurassic World' movie has been announced.
'Jurassic World Evolution' will see players take control of their own park based on the 2015 motion picture - which starred Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard - and will be developed by Frontier Developments.
The title was announced on the Microsoft Gamescom livestream and will enable gamers to construct attractions and research facilities on the island of Isla Nublar and the surrounded land masses.
A press release said: "[Players can] build their own Jurassic World as they bioengineer new dinosaur breeds and construct attractions, containment and research facilities."
The game is slated for a summer 2018 release, around the same time as the new movie 'Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom', which will see Pratt and Howard reprise their roles as Owen Grady and Claire Dearing.
Frontier have worked on the 'RollerCoaster Tycoon' gaming series, in which players are tasked with managing a theme park.
'Fallen Kingdom' will be the fifth installment in the 'Jurassic Park' film franchise, and the original movie was also turned into a game following its 1993 release.
The 'Jurassic Park' game dropped on the NES in June 1993 and was followed up by several sequels, including 'Warpath: Jurassic Park', a 1999 fighting game featuring 14 playable dinosaurs, and park-building title 'Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis' in 2003.
More recently, 'Lego Jurassic World' was released in June 2005.
