Kim Kardashian West thought her "life was over" when she found out about her pregnancy.

The 36-year-old reality television actress, who has since become a mother of a son and a daughter, was "hysterical" when she was told that she was going to have her first child. The doctors previously told her that it would be difficult for her to give birth to a child and so she and her husband Kanye would not have expected children at the time. Kim says: "I don't think we even thought about children at all. Khloé and I went to a fertility doctor and they said that they [thought] that it was going to be really difficult for me, so I was there, my balls freezing. And then I suddenly got pregnant. "

When she called her husband to tell him about the shock of the unexpected news, he thought at first that "a family member had died" because Kim was so upset. In Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim admits, "I thought my life was over because I was pregnant. It was so difficult for me." However, the model is also aware of how lucky she was in the end and is very grateful to him: "Of course it's the best thing that ever happened to me." The brunette insists, however, that her children are not a "focus" of the reality show - they can only be seen a "little".
