Liam Hemsworth campaigns for same-sex marriage in Australia.

The 27-year-old is a supporter of the campaign to legalize marriage for everyone. The actor posted a picture on Instagram showing his homeland in the colors of the rainbow flag and wrote: "I personally do not think that same-sex marriage should be voted on. I think it is HUMAN RIGHTS that you can marry the person who you love, no matter what gender it is. To all Australians who care about equality and human rights, please say YES to same-sex marriage. Let’s not be stupid. Say YES to same-sex marriage in Australia. " The residents of Down Under can vote until November 7th, when it will be officially decided in parliament.

Liam's fiancée Miley Cyrus also supports the campaign. The singer has been campaigning for the rights of homosexuals for years and even has its own organization called 'The Happy Foundation'. Talkmaster Ellen DeGeneres, who married her long-time partner Portia de Rossi in 2008, also asks for the support of her Australian fans. She tweeted: "Should the law be changed so that same-sex couples can get married? Yes, it should."
