Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic is determined to join Manchester United and will turn down Juventus to get his wish, reports claim.

The Serbian midfielder will not travel with the rest of the squad on the pre-season tour of Asia, which is a clear indication he no longer figures in the plans of Antonio Conte and will be allowed to move on.

Matic will now get his future sorted and he has plenty of options, with Juventus now known to be in the hunt, while Arsenal have also been mentioned.

Juve are willing to meet Chelsea's valuation, thought to be in the region of £40million, but it will not to be enough to secure a deal as Matic wants to head to Old Trafford.

Matic knows Mourinho well from their time together at Stamford Bridge and is keen on a re-union, while he would also prefer to stay in the Premier League rather than head to Italy.
