Jose Mourinho insists he does not have any worries that some of his Manchester United players will run down their contracts.
The Red Devils boss is reportedly in contract talks himself, but the former Chelsea coach is currently being asked questions about the future of some of his squad.
Club captain Michael Carrick and Zlatan Ibrahimovic will see their contracts expire next summer, while Juan Mata, Daley Blind, Luke Shaw, Ashley Young, Ander Herrera and Sam Johnstone all have just a season remaining on their deals.
Despite the rumours, Mourinho insists all those in question have clauses in their deals that allow United to extend their contracts.
He told reporters: "Of course it makes a difference [to have a one-year option].
"When the club has a one-year option, it means that the players have one more year of contract so nobody is in the last year.
"The two players are in this situation are Zlatan and Carrick - two players that at the end of the season who are going to sit and to analyse what they did and what they want to do.
"But just Carrick and Zlatan, all the other players are under the club control until end of the 18/19 season, so we are speaking about June '19. No player ends his contract."
