Pink Floyd supported Naomi Watts' mother financially after the death of her husband.
The actress was only seven years old when her father Peter Watts - a sound engineer for the English band - was found dead in London after an overdose of heroin. Now the pretty blonde reveals incredible things: The rock pioneers felt responsible for the family of the deceased and quickly helped Naomi and her mother financially. "When he died my father hadn't saved any money and I don't think my mother had any. The band was very nice then," said the Hollywood star. "Trust Fund doesn't sound right at all. I think they gave my mother a few thousand dollars to get things right. A lump sum to help. It was nice that they did that."
Speaking to The Guardian newspaper, the 'King Kong' actress explains that she can hardly remember her father herself. "You have to understand, maybe I have three photos of my dad and maybe two memories. And all of his photos are either out of focus or he is a tiny spot in the background," she says.
