The last time I asked writer Nicolas Rey if he was in love, he said:
Of course ! and you know what we are going to do, we will call my eternal love!
It was a bit steep as a method. I refused. Then one day at La Palette, in Saint-Germain, I came across Nicolas who introduced me to Perrine Rousseau. Nicolas has had a very intense romance for almost five years with this renowned textile designer.
It is after the private screening of a film that they met and loved each other, "at the first second", Nicolas wants to clarify, as if I doubted it.
But I never doubt what my friends tell me otherwise they would not be friends. Perrine and Nicolas do not include the wonderful album that the writer dedicates to 69 love stories of legendary couples.
It's a shame because they would have been quite in their place in this gallery of mythical portraits, from Juliette Greco to Miles Davis, Romy Schneider to Alain Delon, Jane Birkin to Serge Gainsbourg, Peter Doherty to Amy Winehouse. and so many others.
In the preface, Nicolas Rey presents "his" favorite couple, the one without whom he would not have been there to tell us the infinite love of two: his parents, Bernadette and Claude.
"According to my mother, I was an impeccable kid between zero and eleven years old. It's after things got complicated. "
For the better, or so.
