Nicole Kidman believes sunscreen and smiles are the key to looking beautiful.
The 50-year-old actress - who has kids Isabella, 24, and Connor, 22, from her marriage to Tom Cruise, and Sunday, nine, and Faith, six with spouse Keith Urban - also believes regular exercise and having "good love" make a person glow.
Speaking to E! News to reveal her best advice, she said: "I really believe in exercising. I grew up with the dad who would make us work out...
"Take care of your skin--that is number one. So sunscreen and moisture... Also, I just think love. Good love, slightly harder to get, is a really nourishing thing.
"My husband always says it a smile. It's such a great thing, because it is so youthful."
She urged women wanting to have children to make sure they stay healthy for their kids, and explained it is more important to feel your best, rather than focusing on looking youthful.
Nicole explained: "You want to have beautiful, healthy-looking skin and that's what I think most women would desire. And, as much as we talk about anti-aging, it's more that I want to feel vibrant."
Her comments came after she won the Outstanding Actress in a Limited Series or TV Movie prize at the Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles for her work on 'Big Little Lies' at the weekend.
And in her acceptance speech, the Australian actress paid tribute to her "huge artistic family".
She said: "I have a huge artistic family who supported me throughout all my ups and downs. You have been so loyal to me throughout my whole life thank you for that.
"I have two little girls - Sunnie and Faith. And my darling Keith who I asked to help me pursue this artistic path. And they have sacrificed so much for it.
"So this is yours. I just want my two little girls to have this on their shelf and to look at it and go, 'Every time my mumma didn't put me to bed it's because of this - (at least) I got something!'"
