The chypre accord is not a single scent, but a composition of several materials.
What materials are needed to create the chypre agreement?
The chypre chord is based on different components. First you can find bergamot, a small green citrus fruit. Then, there is rose essence, one of the most adulated flowers in the world because of the multiplicity of its scents, its colors and its forms. The essence of jasmine, a small white or yellow flower, is also present in the chypre chord. You will also find patchouli essence, which brings warmth and an earthy and woody facet. The labdanum comes to add animal notes, resinous and waxy. Finally, the oak moss is to be added to the composition to obtain a nice chypre chord.
