Power balls (also known as energy balls ) are the trend snacks of the moment.

Surfing on the wave raw food , they made the success of Angèle Ferreux-Maeght, founder of La Guinguette d'Angèle.

These small bites, made from dried fruits or nuts, cereals and decorated with coconut, matcha tea or cocoa, are especially popular with athletes, given their high nutritional value. Indeed, the ingredients used to make these snacks are, for the most part, very fat (almond, nuts, peanut butter ...). To consume with moderation therefore.

Recipe :

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C (item 6). Finely chop almonds, macadamia nuts and hazelnuts. Add the pinch of fleur de sel, mix and set aside.

  2. Pit the dates and cut them into pieces. Put them in a container. Add the water and crush it with a fork until you get a paste of dates. Add the quinoa and mix. Form 14 balls of this preparation.

  3. Pour the milk and chopped dried fruit respectively into a deep plate. Put each pellet in the milk first and then in the chopped dried fruit. These must coat the meatballs. Press if necessary to adhere them as much as possible to the meatballs.

  4. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 10 minutes. Let cool completely.

Variation: these dumplings are also delicious without going through the cooking box!

Tip: the mince of dried fruits must be really fine, otherwise it will not adhere enough to the meatballs.
