Alvaro Quiros says he is looking forward to participating at the Andalucia Valderrama Masters next month.
Quiros has been confirmed for the European Tour event, which runs from October 19-22, joining fellow Spaniards Sergio Garcia, who is the reigning Masters champions, and world number five Jon Rahm in the field.
The 34-year-old has struggled at the famous Real Clube de Valderrama in the past but he will be optimistic of a strong challenge this time around after clinching his seventh professional title this year at the Rocco Forte Open.
His victory, which was his first for six years, has boosted his confidence levels ahead of the tournament on home soil and the Cadiz-born star is eager to put on a good show for the fans.
"It's great news that the Andalucia Valderrama Masters is back, especially considering it's going to be in Valderrama," Quiros said. "I'd like to think that I'll have a bit more home support there compared to all other weeks so it would be nice to play well.
"It would be very special to win there obviously. I have always said that winning the Open de Espana in Seville in 2010 was great for me, and winning the Andalucia Valderrama Masters would be the next step for me."
