Kimi Raikkonen is adamant Ferrari will be up for the "fight" at the Japanese Grand Prix despite claims they will struggle in the race.
The Scuderia endured a nightmare in Singapore last Sunday when Raikkonen and team-mate Sebastian Vettel crashed out on the first corner, along with Red Bull's Max Verstappen, despite starting the race at the Marina Bay Circuit in third and on pole position respectively.
Ferrari were expected to dominate proceedings and Vettel was looking to re-take the lead in the drivers' championship ahead of Lewis Hamilton.
Instead, the Mercedes' driver took advantage of his rival's misfortune by taking the chequered flag to move 28 points clear at the top of the standings.
With the upcoming circuits not expected to suit the Ferrari car, many believe Hamilton looks nailed on to secure his fourth world title in the six remaining races.
However, Raikkonen is adamant that Ferrari are not giving up easily and will do all they can to get Vettel back in the title frame, starting at next weekend's race in Japan.
"You [the media] assume that it's difficult, we don't," he told Motorsport.com.
"We go there, it's another race, another weekend, and we go there full of fight and we'll do our best."
