Crystal Palace new boy Jairo Riedewald is in line to make his debut in the season opener against Huddersfield.

The 20-year-old joined the Eagles for £8million from Ajax and could well make an appearance as Palace take on the Premier League new boys at Selhurst park.

Midfielders Yohan Cabaye and James McArthur are expected to shake off injuries and give manager Frank de Boer a boost ahead of his first match in charge but Bakary Sako is unlikely to make it.

Defender Pape Souare is close to a recovery after being involved in a car crash nearly a year ago.

New signings Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Timothy Fosu-Mensah are in the provisional squad and are all expected to be involved in south London.
