43 pieces ! This is the number of articles in the new Carine Roitfeld collection for Uniqlo. Ultra-glamorous pantyhose, tops, mesh, accessories but also large pieces (coats / jackets) ... we have the choice. And prices remain very soft (from 9.90 € to a hundred euros for the biggest pieces).
This is already the third collaboration of the stylist and journalist with the Nippon brand. On the style side, the collection, conceived with Naoki Takizawa , the artistic director of Uniqlo, has a lot to do with dresses : dress, skirt, coat ... it's a little Carine Roitfeld's paw on the collection. But beyond these garments that emphasize the waist, other pieces are clearly inspired by the men's cloakroom : coats, jackets with lapel or bombers for example. And it's well-on the mix of the two that give this style inimitable, feminine and rock at the same time.
A collection for "active and modern women"
Ready for all the possibilities: to work and then to leave, or even to have a date at the time of the day ... the modern and active woman according to Carine Roitfeld has to be "ready in all circumstances". She who admits living between Paris and New York, remains an icon of fashion . After being editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris, she now heads up CR Fashion Book and remains a reference in the field of fashion
Uniqlo seals the collab '
The Japanese brand likes to associate with emblematic names of the fashion and welcomes the invited collections. This was the case with Inès de la Fressange but also Christophe Lemaire who since June 2016 has been the artistic director of the R & D center of Uniqlo Paris and whose first collection, UniqloU, was presented at the end of September 2016. If Uniqlo links the partnerships, the Japanese giant is nevertheless fairly faithful since these collaborations are renewed regularly as the seasons.
Collection Carine Roitfeld, available on November 3, 2016 in France (as of October 27 in the United States).
