Roma are understood to be looking at an alternative option to Riyad Mahrez after encountering difficulties in signing the Foxes star.
Reports in Italy on Friday claim Roma's sporting director Ramon 'Monchi' Verdejo has spent the last few hours working on a move for Borussia Dortmund winger Emre Mor.
The Bundesliga club are willing to part with the Turkey international, who has also been strongly linked to Fiorentina and Everton in the last few days.
Roma's sudden interest in the 20-year-old could indicate that officials at the Serie A club are ready to give up their pursuit of Mahrez after two failed bids for the Algerian - the last of which was reported to be worth £32million.
Other reports have claimed Mahrez wants to play Champions League football next season and there have also been suggestions he is holding out for a move to a top-six Premier League club with Arsenal also still interested.
