Following the news that Stranger Things season 2 would debut earlier than fans expected, on October 27 instead of October 31, a gorgeous new poster for the series has been debuted by Netflix, confirming the date and teasing the fictional world of Hawkins. Check it out below:
Inspired by artwork of Stephen King properties of the past, including The Mist and Stand By Me, the poster still manages to look like something fresh and unique, teasing a terrifying future for the show’s main characters.
Now in 1984, the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are left reeling from the horrors the Demogorgon brought to the town, with the secrets of Hawkins Lab being exposed to a few of those living there. Will Byers may have been rescued from the Upside Down, but it soon becomes apparent that his condition is one that may bring an even more sinister entity to the world than that they’ve seen before.
Despite surviving the events of the first season, fan-favourite characters including Will, Eleven and the rest of the young group are once again put in immense danger.
Stranger Things season 2 debuts globally on Netflix on October 27, 2017.
