A study conducted by the search engines of holiday rentals HomeToGo and GetYourGuide, unveiled the top 10 destinations of weekends at affordable prices.

Weekends in September: more attractive prices for European capitals

In terms of activities , it is the European capitals that do their best, when it comes to budget recreation , to visit the city or to dine outside . In Berlin, you need a total of 41 euros for a guided tour and a restaurant, compared to 57 euros in Vienna. Even if it is true that cities like Prague , Berlin, Vienna or Valencia are inexpensive in all seasons, in September it is possible to save a few extra euros.

The cheapest week-ends in September

The Portuguese island of Madeira has the wind in its sails. It is possible to stay for only 16 euros per night (the cheapest), 10 euros less than the city of the Spanish Basque Country San Sebastian . But Spain remains very affordable, such as Valencia, who practices very low rates, ranging from 19 euros per night against 22 euros a night (but during the spring / summer period).
