As every year, the Institut Pasteur needs us and launches its Pasteurdon: a national operation, broadcast on major TV and radio channels, which aims to raise the maximum funds for medical research. In 2016, the generosity of the French allowed the Institut Pasteur to raise 1.7 million euros. An important and essential amount since it represents 36% of the budget of the Institute.
Why give to the Institut Pasteur?
To help advance research in many areas: Autime, Parkinson, Alzheimer, cancer, but also AIDS, influenza, meningitis ... Thanks to the sums promised at the last Pasteurdon, the researchers were able to continue their investigations on 130 works in course . By participating, we also help to advance the understanding and treatment of these diseases, thanks to a reliable institution, recognized as a public utility .
How to make a donation ?
Operation Pasteurdon will take place from October 12 to 15, and on this occasion, radio and television spots will be broadcast thanks to more than 38 media partners. Public figures also invest: for the seventh consecutive year, Alexandra Lamy will be the godmother of the event, and the director Claude Lelouch has agreed to put his art at the service of science by making spots.
