- The Chanel Rouge Noir: the idea of genius
In the 90's, the nails are limited to wise shades (nude, red or french manicure ). Dominique Moncourtois, international director of make-up creation Chanel, and Heidi Morawetz, director of the make-up studio Chanel, shake up the codes by taking inspiration from one of Coco Chanel's favorite colors, "a garnet hue, like the inside of a black cherry ", for a new nail polish. Noticed at the Chanel Fall-Winter 1994 show and then marketed in the United States under the reference Vamp, he arrived in France in the spring of 1995 as a Rouge Noir.
- Recipe
This red lacquer containing a tip of black, or almost black tinged with red according to some, is deep, bold.
- The user manual
After applying a base, lay two layers of Chanel Black Red Varnish in an Italian style. For a lengthening effect, leave the edges of the nail free. Cover with a thin layer of top coat, possibly Lamé de Chanel to stretch in the center of the nail, to put on the edge as a French manicure or on the lunula to hang the light.
- For who ?
For all, regardless of age and complexion. It is as flattering on tanned as pale skin. Only constraint: a manicure always impeccable.
