To know the biggest cinematic success of the year, to look at the box office figures is not enough any more. For now - even though this reality grinds teeth the industry of the 7th art - the cinema is often consumed illegally, via downloading or streaming. A reality that grips the American title Variety, which unveiled on December 27 last the classification of the most pirated films of the year.
Among the top 10 produced by Variety, films released in theaters in 2015 of course but also feature films unveiled on our screens at the end of 2014 which met with success on canvas 2015. This is the case of Interstellar, Christopher Nolan starring Matthew MacConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, which ranks at the top of the list of the most pirated films of 2015.
Just behind, we find Fast & Furious 7 and Avengers: Age of Ultron, both released in 2015. Surprisingly, Jurassic World, still the biggest boxoffice success of 2015, is only in fourth place.

On the series side, a similar ranking by TorrentFreak lists the most downloaded illegally downloaded series of 2015. At the top of the ranking are the huge HBO Game of Thrones success, followed by The Walking Dead and The Big Bang Theory.
