Castleford's Jake Trueman was delighted to be the man of the moment against Wigan with his debut tries for the first team.
With the absence of Luke Gale as he continues his recovery from an appendix operation, Trueman was handed his first start for the club by coach Daryl Powell.
The 18-year-old did not let anyone down and grabbed a first-half hat-trick of tries to blow away the opposition in a 17-minute period, and after the match he was hailed by his team-mates and the club's chairman.
"It was great," Trueman told the BBC. "The chairman came into the dressing room after to give me the match ball which is nice and it was good to get some acknowledgment off my team-mates.
"A couple of the tries were too easy and I didn't think the referee was going to give it - and I was looking around - but thankfully he did."
