Jhonattan Vegas successfully defended his RBC Canadian Open title, defeating Charley Hoffman in a play-off.
The Venezuelan had endured a shocking run of form when missing the cut in his last five PGA Tour starts but found inspiration at the tournament he won 12 months ago, to defend his title.
Hoffman was the overnight leader but lost his advantage as he shot a final round score of 68, as Vegas came roaring through the field with a 65, to finish on 21 under.
Victory was wrapped up at the first extra hole as Vegas tapped in for a birdie at the par-five 18th, while Hoffman failed to hole out from the bunker which would have taken the play-off to a second hole.
"To repeat in Canada it doesn't get any better," said Vegas. "I came in here on a really long stretch of five missed cuts, not playing great golf, did a little bit of change on my Mizuno irons this week and it was magic to be honest."
Ian Poulter continued his fine run of form, but just missed out on the play-off when finishing third on his own on 20-under.
