Two women in a world of guys: The female police series?
According to the latest study by the CSA *, France is not left behind to give roles to women in television series with
"48% of the characters present in the distribution of French female fiction while they are only 38% in the distribution of American fictions. But they are still secondary characters of which "among the 13 French fictions studied, only 3 that give the first role exclusively to women".
Nevertheless, the first female roles in the French series seem to be highly appreciated, as are the actresses Caroline Proust and Audrey Fleurot for the sixth edition of Engrenages . In a very different way each, one perched on Louboutin with almost aggressive femininity, the other trying to blend in an environment of men with high testosterone, participated in the success of the series exported in 70 country.
Invited yesterday morning on the show Instant M (France Inter), Anne Landois art director and head writer of "Gears" from Season 3 reminds us that "the surprise of this series is that it interests the whole world (Broadcast on BBC in French version subtitled!) ".

"The series allow more and more to show what has always been hidden, a relationship to intimacy in writing especially in the treatment of women ...
