Whether you like it or not, your way of dressing also reveals your personality. So it is not surprising that even science is involved to help us understand this link. The specialized fashion site Who What Wear has set itself the task of looking for studies that give advice for better dressing and here is what they found:

  • Do not combine everything

If one is sometimes afraid of resembling a Christmas tree, psychologist Kurt Gray, a professor at Harvard University, explains that individuals react positively to combinations that generate a perfect balance between simplicity and complexity.

So you can now start mixing two prints, or incorporate unusual colors into your look.

  • Wear yellow

The publication Psych Digest explains that yellow increases blood pressure and pulse, while a study by the University of Amsterdam describes it as "the color of happiness".

Including her in her wardrobe sends a message of optimism, hope and warmth.

  • Look for the diagonal

If you are looking to draw attention to certain parts of your body, refer to a diagonal line. According to Who What Wear, she suggests movement and can give more volumes to certain areas of our body such as ribs, waist and hips.

You can opt for diagonal prints, clothes with pleats or shapes that produce this effect.
