Burnley and West Brom are reportedly interested in Croatian left-back Ivan Strinic, who is surplus to requirements at Napoli.

Corriere dello Sport claim an intermediary has come back to Napoli with indications that the two Premier League clubs would be willing to part with up to £7.5million for the defender.

Strinic is down the pecking order at the Stadio San Paolo after Napoli signed Mario Rui on loan from Roma to back up first-choice left-back Faouzi Ghoulam.

And the Partenopei Gli Azzurri are looking to offload his £1.2million salary from their wage bill.

The ex-Hajduk Split and Dnipro defender made 12 Serie A appearances last season and scored two goals while also picking up three yellow cards.

Although he does have two years left on his contract at Napoli, it seems unlikely that any club would pay £7.5million for his services right now, with Galatasaray reported to be offering less than half that amount earlier this summer.
