Bungie have "no plans" to release 'Destiny 2' on PC.
David "Deej" Dague, the video games developer's community manager, has taken to Twitter to play down speculation the upcoming game might be heading to computers after Destiny's microtransaction currency Silver was made available on gaming store Steam "in error".
He tweeted: "Destiny transactions on Steam were made available in error. All purchases will be refunded manually by Valve. Sorry for the confusion! (sic)"
Some fans appeared to take the Steam addition as a sign that 'Destiny 2' will definitely be coming to PCs.
One fan wrote: "looks forward to meeting all destiny 2 PC players ahead of beta. Also I hear #destinythegame heading to steam. (sic)"
But David responded: "We're with Blizzard. No plans to release Destiny 2 on PC anywhere else. Pass it on. (sic)"
While the game doesn't look like coming to PC soon, fans can get their hands on some 'Destiny 2' scented candles should they wish to experience the smell of the world they're exploring within the title at the same time of playing, or having a bath.
Gaming merchandiser Numskull have teamed up with the popular sequel to produce five scented candles "inspired by planets" from the title which aim to give players a more realistic gaming experience.
A sales pitch on the Numskull website reads: "Light up your room and fill the air with the phenomenal scents captured by infamous Destiny gameplay.
"This must-have fragrant set can also be bought with a candle holder inspired the game's Ghost - so have a look at our unique collection if you want to go all-out!
"The candle set includes five unique scents perfect for setting the scene."
