The decor
A cruise Cruise on a liner? Chanel will remain the only facetious luxury house to have dared this design set with five-star jokes. Under the monumental nave of the Grand Palais, it is a beautiful and a phenomenally large cruise ship that stands under the amazed gaze of the few (lucky) guests. His name ? La Pausa, subtle reference to the Provencal villa of Gabrielle Chanel , where the designer liked to receive personalities like Salvador Dali, Jean Cocteau or Greta Garbo. With ease.
inspiration
Marine, obviously! De rigueur, the striped palazzo trousers and the buoy bags shade the traditional tweed suits, whose silhouettes have been revised and corrected by the Kaiser of fashion, transformed for the occasion into a real ship captain. Karl Lagerfeld has applied himself to declining the Chanel heritage on jeweled shirts-boleros, cocktail dresses with precious details or on cheeky denim total-looks, while multiplying the winks to the nautical grammar. From sailor's berets to ocean blue sunglasses, the scholarly details here and there affixed to this stylish new cloakroom have not failed to make this ephemeral stopover an exciting time trip.

But at Chanel, it is also the front row that emulates with the presence of Kristen Stewart, Lily-Rose Depp, Caroline Maigret and Margot Robbie , come to take aboard.
The after-show
Who says cruise, said inevitably ... after-show . If you want to build a liner, you can also enjoy the evening after the parade. Bubbles and petits-fours were served on a pristine deck, from the ground to the multiple deckchairs installed. No doubt, the cruise had fun
