To remove pockets: scar-free surgery

For who ? There are two causes of bags under the eyes: those due to mild edema, causing localized water retention, easily accessible to drainage, and those caused by a small fatty mass under the lower eyelid.

Only the "fat" pockets are surgical and are often a "trademark" family. They are caused by a weakness of the rigid membrane surrounding the orbit, and are more common in people with a very wide orbit. They are easily removed by the surgeon regardless of the age of the patient.

How is it going ? Using a laser scalpel the surgeon goes through the inside of the eyelid and removes the fat pouch. It is done in about 20 minutes under slight sedation and leaves no scars. Optional solution for those who find their eyelids a little wilted: the surgeon spends a little fractional CO2 laser to slightly tighten the skin.

The sequelae: no scars or redness in the first case. In the second one we wear glasses for two to three days to protect the skin slightly pink.

The number of sessions: only one is enough. The result is final.

The price: between 2000 € and 3000 €

To make the rings disappear: lipofilling or hyaluronic acid

For who ? For dark skins whose brown rings are due to the melanin richness of the contour of the eye. For the clear and fine skins whose blue rings reveal the capillary network.

How is it going ? Two methods can be used.

Lipofilling consists of taking a small amount of fat on the body (belly, thigh) and then injecting it after centrifugation at the level of the ring, under the skin, using tiny cannulae. The procedure lasts about half an hour for both eyes, the patient being under local anesthesia. If this one is very anguished one can make him take a small sedation.

The other technique consists in injecting very fluid hyaluronic acid (Volbella for example) into regular and progressive beneath the skin at the level of the ring. The procedure takes about ten minutes, in the chair.

Suites ? They are identical for both techniques. The results are immediate. There may be a small redness or bruising easily concealed under the make-up.

The number of sessions: two sessions are sometimes necessary for the lipofilling but the results last several years. With hyaluronic acid a single session is enough, but it must be repeated every two years.
