Ed Sheeran plays Lisa's beloved in 'The Simpsons'.
The pop star, who recently had a guest role in 'Game of Thrones', will take on the role of Brendan in a musical episode of the famous cartoon, in which he is in a triangular relationship with Lisa and Nelson Muntz. The producer Al Jean is convinced that the role is "perfect" for Ed. He told Entertainment Weekly: "We said: 'Oh great, we have to let him do it!' We recorded by phone from England. " Ed comments on his role on his Instagram profile below a photo of the article as follows: "The year continues to be surreal and great. Check out how I and Lisa are up to speed".
Ed is also currently sketching his own film, for which he would like to hire Helen Mirren. The film is already being planned, but he won't have time to make it until 2019. But Ed doesn't only seem talented in music and film business. Just last month the musician told Metro that he would like to take part in a dance show. "I'm going to take 100 percent of 'Strictly Come Dancing' one day. I also think something like 'I'm a Celebrity' would be fun," said the 26-year-old, who seems to have big plans for the future and talent.
