If breakfast is the most important meal of the day, then choosing the right foods is necessary. According to an American study published in the journal Eating Behavior, the ideal breakfast to be satiated would consist of eggs. While this study was particularly interested in children's breakfast, it echoes other research on the benefits of the egg.
For example, Emma Morano, a 116-year-old Italian centenarian, recently confided that her longevity secret was in the consumption of three eggs, two raw eggs and one egg cooked every morning. Yum.
In addition, a 2013 INRA file explains that: "The nutritional interest [of the egg, note] lies in the subtle balance and the diversity of its constituents: proteins among the best for humans, lipids of very good quality, number of vitamins and minerals ". Not to mention, its satietogenic power significantly higher than in products made from cereals (bread, croissant, cereals) and that of cottage cheese. So convinced?
