Addicted to cheese or chocolate? Passionate about raw food or vegan diet? Know that your tastes and eating habits are in fact determined by your personality. This is what emerges from a study conducted by the magazine "Appetite" wanted to highlight the causal links between character traits and greedy impulses and silhouettes. Capillotracted ? Surely a little.

By submitting more than 1000 people (over 55) selected at random to three questionnaires - one on personality, one on eating habits, and one last on food choice - the researchers of this study wanted to determine how each personality trait corresponded to certain eating habits.

Thus, reading the results, we learn that a lack of consciousness is linked to an impulsive diet and many "cracking". Rather logical. Conversely, conscientious people are usually better able to pay attention to their diet. The cheese and chocolate melts are hyper sociable and extroverts succumb more than anyone to red meat or soda sweetened. Finally for the sweet, pleasant and open people, it seems that they crack for fruits and vegetables. Convenient.

The data in this study, however, should be taken with tweezers. It should actually extend the panel and see if the same results are reflected throughout the world. Still, it seems rather logical finally that knowing oneself intrinsically can help to control "food".
