ingredients
800 g of filet mignon
6 apples
1 C. to s. olive oil
1 onion
2 glasses of cider
1 C. to c. cinnamon
2 cloves
2 tbsp. to s. chopped parsley
250 g of whole rice
salt ; pepper
Steps
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the chopped onion for 2 minutes while stirring. Color the filet mignon on each side for a few minutes. Add the cinnamon, the cloves, salt, pepper, sprinkle with the cider then cover the casserole and cook for 20 min on medium heat.
Cook the rice in salted boiling water for about 15 minutes. Drain .
Cut the apples into quarters. Add them to the casserole and continue cooking for 10 minutes, until the tip of a knife sticks into it without resistance.
Remove the cloves, slice the filet mignon, sprinkle with parsley and serve with the apples.
